Hi, I’m Cristina Besher, a.k.a. Kika. I was born and raised in Brazil, one of the tropical lands of cacao, where I spent my days baking and eating all things chocolate. In 1999 I moved to San Francisco and had the opportunity to work at a variety of wonderful restaurants and bakeries where I refined my skills with some of the finest chefs around. In 2006, I made a list of my favorite treats and decided that it was time to share them with the world.
When you buy a package of Kika’s Treats, not only are you treating yourself to something all natural and delicious, but you’re also supporting the American economy and helping to reduce carbon footprints, since Kika’s Treats always sources locally, both ingredients and packaging. On top of that, Kika’s Treats gives back to the community, by in-kind donations to local non-profits and by donating 5% of net profits to La Cocina, a non-profit food business incubator in San Francisco that helps low income entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.
